Share Your Story!

At The Mothers & Daughters Collective, we believe in the power of real stories.

Stories of love, respect, honesty, grace, and the connection they create between mothers and daughters.

We are currently collecting stories for an upcoming book project that highlights the real experiences of mothers and daughters in every stage of their relationship—whether the bond is already strong, still growing, or being intentionally rebuilt.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome stories that reflect one or more of the following:

  • Moments of love that shaped your relationship

  • Experiences that required respect, boundaries, or understanding

  • Honest conversations that changed or deepened your connection

  • Seasons that required grace, patience, or forgiveness

  • The journey toward stronger emotional connection

  • Everyday moments that strengthened your bond over time

Your story does not have to be perfect—it just needs to be real and rooted in growth, intention, or care.

Why Your Story Matters…

Healthy mother-daughter relationships exist in many forms.

Some are close and easy.
Some are rebuilt over time.
Some are strengthened through patience, forgiveness, and growth.

Together, these stories reflect how love, respect, honesty, grace, and connection show up in real life—not just in theory.

By sharing your story, you may help another mother or daughter feel seen, understood, and hopeful about their own relationship.

Story Guidelines

  • 500–1,500 words (flexible)

  • Written from either the mother’s or daughter’s perspective

  • Can be current or reflective (past experiences are welcome)

  • Must focus on a healthy, respectful, or healing dynamic

We may lightly edit submissions for clarity, grammar, or length while preserving your voice

What Happens After You Submit

If your story is selected:

  • It may be featured in the upcoming book and/or on the website

  • You will be contacted before anything is published

  • You may remain anonymous or use your first name only

Not every submission will be published, but every story will be read with care and gratitude.
